Desktop Vinyl
Give your music a little weight.
A 3D desktop record that spins with Spotify or Apple Music and uses album artwork as its label.

Native SceneKit export. The browser recreation follows the source’s disc and label dimensions and uses its exported label. Spin is visual only, with no audio or Spotify connection.
What it does.
Desktop Vinyl gives playback a physical presence: a thin record with subtle grooves and the current album artwork at its center. The native app can control Spotify or Music, and turning the record can scrub through a track.
Music becomes the label
The native app loads the current album artwork and uses it as the paper record label.
Touch the playback
Click to play or pause, use hover playback controls, or drag around the record to scrub the track.
Natural rotation
Flick rotation has inertia and eases back to the configured playing or idle speed.
A desktop object
Transparent desktop placement, saved position, center snapping, opt-in floating, and rendering suspension when occluded.
